Tauranga Rowing Club is seeking a new Part-time Venue Manager to manage all upcoming events.

Located in Memorial Park off Devonport Road,
‘The Watersedge Lounge’ has facilities to cater for Weddings, Corporate Events, Meetings, Birthday Celebrations etc.

The Lounge & Venue Manager would be responsible for :
– Meeting prospective venue hirers
– Pricing out hiring costs in accordance with Structure
– Liaising with clients and suppliers
– Ensuring all hirers have a smooth experience
– Organising return of keys and cleaners
– Co-ordination of Repairs, Maintenance & Replenishment of the Premises

The ideal applicant:
– Knowledge & experience in Hospitality or venue hiring
– A good understanding of Health & Safety best practices
– Flexibility to accommodate client schedules
– Good level of maturity and ability to converse at all levels

This role is commission based whereby you’re only limited by your ability to book events and ensure our loyal clientele continue to return again and again for their events.
